We offer technology services and licensing for the specialty chemical industries, green chemicals, and bio-chemical processing industries. The processes we focus on typically are emphasized by using our high mass transfer reactor systems that include micro reactors, jet reactors, tubular plug flow reactors, stirred reactors, loop reactors, and fixed bed reactors.
Pilot plants are intermediate-scale facilities that bridge the gap between laboratory-scale experiments and full-scale industrial production. They are utilized to test the scalability, efficiency, and economics of new processes and technologies. Pilot plants allow engineers to evaluate different variables, optimize operating conditions, and identify potential challenges or limitations before implementing the process on a larger scale. We do this by replicating and demonstrating chemistry in a high mass transfer reactor.
For the last 30 years we have successfully scaled-up processes typically starting between 1 – 50 liters up to industrial plants of 80 m3. This equates to a scale-up factor of 1 to approximately 3000.
